What started as an effort to preserve my grandmother's Navaho jewelry, soon became a passion trying to repair and recreate the remnants of beautiful pieces she was gifted long ago by the Navaho during her time as a young woman working on the New Mexico reservations. During those early 1920's, her father, Senator Holm O. Bursum, was working to transition New Mexico from a territory into Statehood.
Though you left this earth far too young, your spirit will forever be in my heart my beautiful grandmother...
